Chenille is BACK

If you're a 90's baby like me then you've seen chenille before. I, myself, rocked chenille sweaters in a lot of old family photos. I never thought I'd be rocking it again almost 15 years later. But who doesn't love when a fashion statement makes a comeback?

Chenille is that current Fall/Winter fashion comeback and I'm not mad about it. Here are a few reasons why it is my new fashion obsession. Chenille fabric literally feels like butter, it is so SOFT! You can dress it up or down. In the photos below I've chosen to dress it up with some dark denim jeans and black booties. Last but not least, I love chenille because textured sweaters are sooooo in or should I say "fetch" and go even more 90's with this post.

You literally can't go wrong with this grey chenille crew neck sweater. Plus a little added bonus is this sweater is super affordable, check it out in the link below!

Dream big

Let me start off by saying, "Hello and welcome to my blog.... Destin to Dream." I decided to start this blog because fashion has always been something I'm passionate about. From picking out my evening gown for the Miss USA pageant, outfits for modeling castings, or just everyday attire, it's always been something I've loved. I thought why not share some of my fashion ideas with others in hopes that they might love them too.

So here I am, launching a blog, going out on a limb and making one of my dreams a reality. Which brings me to my next point. I chose to name my blog "Destin to Dream" because I truly believe that people should set enormous, fearless, life-changing dreams for themselves. As the late great Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." I'm choosing to pursue my dreams and in the process hopefully inspire others to do the same. I hope all of you that are reading this post set amazing goals for yourself which one day may lead to all of your DREAMS coming true.
